Tip on higher order thinking

To engage higher order thinking you need to come up with questions that force you to open up beyond the repetition of facts and consider the What, Why and How.


For example:

Explain what is the biggest crisis of our time. Why do you believe this and how did you come up with this theory?


A trivial pursuit question does not open us up to higher order thinking!
